There are two elements in this shot that I was really hoping I could capture - a superb, friendly London character against the backdrop of arguably the home of lust - Soho.

The man in the shot is called Dominic and I spent an amusing time photographing him while he jokingly told me about his younger girlfriend! This man was so full of character and a lust for life that I just had to include him in the shot as he was exactly what I was looking for.

For me, the backdrop of the Soho shops was essential in continuing the theme, particularly as your eye wanders around the open doors and you look in the windows above, you appreciate how this fits with the theme. And yes, I promised Dominic a print for his girlfriend!
